The King Of The Hill Winner Is......Team: "Who's Your Daddy?"





No one would have ever guessed it would have come down to a 1 point difference to determine the winner of the King Of The Hill contest. 5 teams entered - 2 came out on top.
It was so close it took some extra time to watch the footy and come to a hard decision.

Team "Who's Your Daddy?" came out ahead with 159 points. Who's Your Daddy? team members included: Casey Duncan,

Team "Young Guns & A Has Been" was edged out with 158 points. It came down to one tre flip they forgot to do in a line. Young Guns & A Has Been team members included: Bly Nantz,

Amazing skating was thrown down by all teams who entered the contest. Thanks to all who entered - everyone did a great job. Team "Who's Your Daddy?" members can pick up their prize package at Blue Wallace on (or after) Saturday July 5th. The prizes include:

King Of The Hill Contest June 21, 2008






To celebrate Go Skateboarding Day 2008
the Blue Wallace skateboard team is hosting a contest on Saturday June 21, 2008.
The King Of The Hill contest is a take off of Thrasher's King Of The Road contest.
Teams that enter the contest will compete to win a prize package of skateboard products for their team. All teams will be given the same scavenger hunt and trick list. Items on the list are given a point value for each task. To win, each team must complete and document on camera as many of the tasks as possible before time runs out.

  • Entry fee per team is $25.

  • Teams consist of no less than 2 members
    but no more than 5 members.

  • No more than 2 Blue Wallace A Team members can be on any KOH team.

  • Each team provides their own camera, tapes or discs, and must have their own cameraman.

  • In each team all team members will be required to complete some tasks - including the cameraman.

  • Tasks completed in the lists must be documented on camera footage that is turned in at the end of the day at Blue Wallace skate shop.

  • All tasks that are documented on footage must be from Go Skateboarding Day (June 21, 2008). Any footage taped prior to June 21, 2008 will not count for points.

  • The deadline to turn in footage at the shop is 9 pm June 21, 2008. Any footage turned in after 9 pm will be disqualified from the competition.

  • Tricks attempted, but not landed, will not count for points. You must land with your feet on the board and rolling out of the trick.

  • The team with the highest point score will be the named King Of The Hill 2008 and will receive the prize package of skateboard products for their team.

  • The registration begins at 9 am sharp on Saturday June 21. The contest kicks off at 10 am.

  • The KOH contest trick list and scavenger hunt list will not be given out to teams until registered on June 21, 2008. All KOH teams are given the same trick and scavenger hunt list.

  • If you want to enter the contest but don't have a team yet - come to the shop during registration (9-10 am). Teams can be formed during the registration hour.
