[September 20, 2007] Prospective A Team Candidates Announced

The A Team try outs last Saturday were amazing!
That session had to be one of the best the skatepark has seen yet!
The riding we saw on Saturday is an indication that this region has unrecognized talent hidden away - eager to get their name out.
If you weren't there -- check out the video footage:

A Team try outs video

We want our team members to succeed, and we do all that we can to get them connected to the industry. However, any A Team member will have responsibilities in order to remain on the team. Our A Team members should ride at top ability levels and represent Blue Wallace Skateshop in a positive way. Each A Team member will be required to submit footage of their skating progression on a regular basis. This footage will be used to promote Blue Wallace, the skater, and any product sponsor that they ride for.

We can't take on everyone - but after much debate and reviewing of the footy that we captured - we've selected the skaters that we believe have the skills to step up.

We are asking these prospective A Team members to submit 1 minute of footage to Randy Reece at Blue Wallace by no later than September 27. The footage does not need fancy editing or music - just raw footy of you landing your current strongest tricks.
Here's who needs to submit footage:

  • Jeremy Hartzell

  • Logan Hartzell
  • Chris VanMeter
  • Cody VanMeter
  • Blake
  • Kevin Benson
